Meet The Agency

I have been with Nationwide since graduating from the University of Kentucky with my MBA in Finance in 1981. I started with the Corporate Offices in Columbus, Ohio and worked in a variety of management positions in Columbus, Lynchburg VA, and Atlanta GA until December 1995. At that time I transitioned to the position of agent and relocated to Myrtle Beach and began my tenure in January 1996.

I have been Agent of the Year for South Carolina based on production and for service to my customers and the community. I have qualified for the highest level for Nationwide Sales 7 times and attained their Financial Sales award 3 times. I am a member of the Surfside Area Rotary and I serve on the Board of Directors for the Children’s Recovery Center.

Heidi has been with the Agency since 2002 and has been in insurance for several years prior to joining our Staff.  Heidi is the Office Manager and acts on my behalf when I am absent from the office.  She handles all Commercial Sales and Service as well as many Personal Lines areas.

Jody has been with the agency since 2006 and is located in our Conway office.  She has a good knowledge of the Conway and surrounding markets and is very well versed in insurance products available.  She primarily works with writing Personal Lines coverage and servicing the needs of our Personal Lines clients.

Stan has been with the agency since 1998.  He has a wealth of knowledge having worked in Nationwide as an agent and a manager for over 40 years.  He came to the agency when he retired as an Agency Manager in Mobile Alabama in 1998.  He works with our brokerage book of business including Wind & Hail coverage.

Teresa is the face of the agency.  She works the front desk at our Surfside Office and knows most all our customers by name.  Teresa has been with our agency since 1998 and makes a dedicated effort to greet you with a smile and direct your questions and concerns to the appropriate staff member.

Donna has been with the agency for over ten years.  Very well versed and knowledgeable in Personal Lines policies and coverage, she not only writes new business but makes sure the customers understand what they have and what they do not have.  She has been in the insurance business for over 20 years.

Peter is a professional in the Financial Sales arena.  He has worked for over 30 years as a producer and manager for many companies including large brokerage houses and a large bank.  He joined the agency in late 2010 coming to us from the metro Virginia area near DC and has already helped several of our clients begin financial programs as well as enhance and strengthen others.

Tangie came to the agency in 2010.  She has over 10 years of insurance experience under her.  Her primary function is to help our Personal Lines customers with questions about their policies and premiums and getting the answers they need.
